Nothing, just greeting your Sunday afternoon with a picture of Mayor Coffee! We found Mayor Coffee at a hallway in Math Building before our Math 11 recitation class. I was not able to see his/er gender, so we gave it a gender-neutral name that is adorable! Sadly, Mayor Coffee is very anxious around people…. same sentiments, Mayor Coffee; someday, it will be fine!
One of the plants in front of our house bloomed a beauty last midyear break, and I think it deserved a photo. Now, I think it deserves to be appreciated with a blog post. Also, good job, Mom! You did a nice job in taking care of the plants! 🙂
This was the time when Linnaeus (my section when I was a high school sophomore) had a special reunion in Enchanted Kingdom. Yes, flying fiesta made me dizzy, but it was fun!
Last week, I visited Luwalhati, a photo exhibit held at Ginhawa Art Cafe in UPLB. It was a joy in the heart to witness an exhibit like this because I am a fan of artworks in any form. The idea of looking at masterpieces displayed on a plain surface makes me happy and contented. Indeed, Luwalhati 2016 made me feel like an excited art student again.
The photos in the pictures were not the only displayed photos in the exhibit. In my trip, I discovered that there were more photos behind the panel boards and they were also beautiful and aesthetically meaningful! Hopefully, more exhibits like this will be held in the campus and I will visit them all alone!
Yes, I prefer visiting art exhibits alone because it gives me a glorious moment to reflect on and appreciate the displayed artworks. Sheer solitude will always have a place in my heart.
This post makes it look like I have lots of time to splash in the waves of the beaches in our country, but the truth is, I still have classes until May (and I do not have the money, okkk). So I grabbed the opportunity to embrace the time that I had in the beach when I went to one of my best friend’s debut.
In this photo, I like how the tiny boat is facing towards us + the lights trying to escape from the tiny gaps between the clouds.
It was surprising to know that this floating rest house can move because I thought it was static.
A candid scene in a beautiful place is a beautiful view to photograph. It gives story to a blank picture.
Indeed, going to the beach with the right people was a fun experience and we’re aiming to do this again someday. However, reality is crawling on my doorway. I still have to finish few requirements to ace this semester!
Seeing the beauty in CEAT made me think that having a 7-AM PE class isn’t a bad thing after all! Wednesday is a day I look forward to because of the cold early-morning walk it gives me. My walk to the far building of CEAT is fun because I get to witness the beauty of the scenes and things I see while I am on my way. PLUS! I have a small time to listen to music.
Will you look at that, I am back! I thought this blog is going to be stagnant. Lest the fear of wasting another chance to run a blog, here I am with few photos of the sun shining tremendously, gorgeously, and generously in our university! Sometimes, it takes time to appreciate the presence of a thing that causes us distress; but in the end, we have to accept that that thing will always be a part of us and the greatest thing to do is to recognize its presence in a good way. Yes, the sun is a good representation of that positive statement.
A pack of oatmeal cookies was my usual breakfast in the first few weeks of the semester. I was super mindful of eating in the morning because I do not want to see myself fainting in the middle of the street. But lo and behold, the semester ended with me eating the wind for breakfast! Aside from being lazy and busy during wee hours, I was truly ignorant of the consequences because my brain was overloaded with tasks, difficulties, multiple hamsters and information! The stress made me forget the things that I have to keep in mind.
Well of course, I know how shameful it is to ignore meal time. Meal time makes a person powerful because a normal human being knows that s/he can devour a chicken leg with scrumptious gravy and fried rice in just minutes! Kidding, I mean, meal time is a necessary thing because it makes a person energized again; thus, s/he can continue her/is work with no problemo!
Lesson learned. During the last few weeks of the semester, I should have eaten more in the morning, rather than nothing, because breakfast is the most important meal of the day! So my solution is to eat a buffet on my bed spread next semester (to start the day right!).
